Holy Wisdom Monastery's land care work creates mountains of firewood, and we hope you'll take some! All wood in our woodpile is mixed hardwood that has fallen from storms, rot, or old age, and wood that we removed during restoration projects. Majority is cut to firewood length and some is already split. We kindly request this firewood stays in Dane County to minimize the spread of pests and pathogens. Route to firewood is off of the main asphalt driveway on a gravel driveway, see attached map to understand location.

*At this time we are not allowing folks to use chainsaws on our property for further sawing firewood. Almost all firewood is cut to length and should not necessitate a chainsaw.
