Headache-rack-mounted flood lights for easy loading or to do a repair in the dark (I had them wired to a switch in the cab)
LED light strips mounted under the deck to illuminate the entire truck bed (wired to a switch in the bed)
Hardware installed for using Super Clamp style ski hold downs, front and rear.

Having a deck mounted in the bed puts the weight over the truck's axle/tires, giving better traction in slippery conditions. It also lets you turn around without needing very much space to do so.
