The top has been cut out.
And, the top edge carefully kneaded down for a smooth finish
I drill eighteen 1/2 inch breather holes in a symmetrical swirl
around the side so maximum oxygen can flow freely into the barrel during its use.

These barrels will turn black in color the first time you use it to burn something
Then, the barrel will turn brown as it oxidizes
