Hidden Pond Farm, between Sauk City and Middleton, seeks an individual to assist with horse and general animal care. This work happens outside and inside an unheated, insulated barn. Duties include feeding animals (up to six horses, a dog, two cats), turn-out and turn-in, cleaning stalls, carrying water buckets weighing about 25 lbs, general cleaning of the barn, tackroom, and bathroom, and moving up to 40 lbs short distances. The ideal individual would have some experience handling horses. This is occasional and part-time work, offering an hourly rate of $20. Reduced horse board in exchange for time is an option.
