Job Overview:
We are a local, established truck and trailer repair company seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily office operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
This is NOT a remote position.
Responsibilities:
• Front desk support including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phones
• Scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records
• Customer service and handling client inquiries professionally
• Creating documents, spreadsheets, and reports
• Assisting with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (invoicing, A/R, A/P, data entry)
• Managing office supplies and placing orders
• Proofreading documents for accuracy and clarity
• Supporting the team with general administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & Google Workspace)
• QuickBooks experience required (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• High School diploma or GED required
