I purchased this kit in December with plans of rewrapping it in purple strata. I picked this kit bc it sounds great and is cost effective, specifically for gigging. Long story short, they dont make purple strata wrap anymore and my attempt to recreate purple strata failed, so i wrapped it in the next closest finish; blue oyster.

Brand new, hasnt been played, upgrades include blue oyster wrap, new vents, new danmar rod washers (touchless), and memory locks.

The setup is 12 (8 in deep), 14 (12 in deep), 16 (16 in deep) and 22 (18 in deep). The heads are brand new never played mapex logo remos. It also comes with the tom mount hardware.

It looks very similar to the SJC design of the month kit posted this month on their site, but a fraction of the cost. Coincidentally, the shield lugs SJC uses look very similar in shape to the Mapex hardware. If you swapped the Mapex badges with SJC, it’d be hard to tell the difference.

Shells only. I can pack them all in their original boxes as well.
