This is a rare special series Martin built in the USA 2008-11 in small quantity. It's a D14 dreadnought body, d35 back, with cutaway. It was right after Gibson got in trouble for using endangered hardwoods. The fretboard is a special composite they developed. It's way smoother than rosewood, sounds great and still looks brand new, you'll never gouge it. Has very nice Roland electronics. Has eq, feedback elimination, reverb, effects and tuner.
Plays great, no noticeable fret wear. Why only $1300? It has been professionally repaired. I dropped it and a piece of bracing inside jarred loose. Wood was not broken. I had the luthier add Martin bracing to the back so now it has the same bracing as a $3,500 Martin d35. Work done by Andrew Madsen, he builds high end acoustics for a living and has the degree, not a garage hobbyist. You can play some of his creations at Dave's. Plug for him bc he does great work.
Guitar has been played, it has scratches and the back has some strap residue.
