This is a 1920 C.G Conn Silver Plated Melody Saxophone. I was going to polish it, but I know some folks would like to do that themselves. The pads are fairly new, replaced in 2008. I used an LED rope light to illuminate the horn from the inside so you can see the pads seat nicely and don't allow light to escape. There are no big dings or dents anywhere, this horn has been taken care of for over 100 years.

Comes with 2 reeds, strap, and 2 Yamaha mouthpieces


PATENTED DEC. 8, 1914 - This is the date the patent was granted for the drawn tone hole patent.
1119954 - This is the patent number for the drawn tone hole patent.

"C" - This is the type of saxophone: Eb = Sopranino; S = Soprano; A = Alto; T = Tenor; E = Baritone; B = Bass; C = C Soprano or C Melody; F = F Mezzo Soprano or Conn-o-sax.
XXXXXXX - This line consists of two parts: "M" stands for saxophones. The number is the serial number.
L - This means Low Pitch (A=440 Hz). Alternatively you see "H" for High Pitch, where A=457 Hz (approximately).
