This is a 1966 Honda CB160. This was my uncles first bike, bought new in 66. A few years ago my dad inherited it from him.
We had it cleaned up and running recently but low compression, 110 in 1 cylinder and 90 in another. We have the gas tank but it is roached, would need a major soldering job.
Unfortunately when my uncle was a teenager he painted it a maroon color.
Have key, no title
With the low compression, gas tank condition, and unoriginal paint job my dad and I scrapped the idea with continuing to restore.
Notable parts that would be great for a restoration job:
- both chrome exhaust pipes good condition
- Speedometer
- Headlight
- seat in good condition
These are quick pics I took still buried in the garage. It will be cleared out tomorrow if someone is interested in better pics or have more questions message me and make an offer.
Parts bike but can be brought back to life if somebody is more ambitious.
