Runs and drives. Clean WI title. Currently registered and driven around town on a regular basis.
This was my first bike that I rode this summer around the isthmus. I'm selling it because I don't have a place to store it over winter and I'd like to move up to something bigger next spring. It's old, but it runs and drives and was solid for me all summer until a vac line popped off and the carbs flooded. Carbs were rebuild and lines replaced by Motorcycle Performance but it could use some adjusting/synchronizing because it runs rich. I still ride it around downtown and it'd be a great bike for anyone who likes UJMs or wants to get started on a cafe project. Willing to show the bike and negotiate on the price. The good:
-Runs and drives
-All electronics work, including electric starter
-Ignition coils recently replaced
-Carburetors recently rebuilt by Motorcycle Performance in Madison
-Includes repair manual, extra carburetor parts, waterproof cover and original under-seat tool kit.
The bad:
-It's old
-Runs rich, causing idle to drop and bike to stall. Works for my short commute but could need a trailer if over an hour away. Carburetors were recently rebuilt so it probably just needs a synchronization.
