Seeking a full-time maintenance technician for our property management company to handle work orders for the rental and condo properties we manage in Dane County, WI! Ideal candidate would have experience with general maintenance items, but we are happy to train the right person with a great attitude. Some common work order items include:
Grounds clean-up
Gutter cleaning
Snow removal
Lawn care
Pool and hot tub testing and maintenance
Dumpster clean-up
Picking up pet waste
Painting
Minor drywall repairs
Common area cleaning
Minor plumbing (toilet replacement, faucet replacement)
Minor electrical (swapping out outlets, light bulb and fixture replacement)
Fire alarm testing
Minor siding or trim repair or replacement
Common handyman work
Huge bonus would be a candidate who has experience in:
Flooring
Cabinet installation
Countertops
Major plumbing
AppFolio management software
Condo Association management and/or maintenance
This job would require you to be on-call one night per work week and approximately 1 in every 6 weekends.
Some other things required to do this job:
Comfortable with heights (ladder)
Heavy lifting
Willingness and ability to check emails on phone
Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism when out in the field
Ability to communicate with Owners, management, and customers
Attention to detail
Proactive work ethic
Daily expectations are to be at the office for check-in at 7:45am, out in the field during the day, back in the office at 4:00pm. We manage roughly 30 properties in the greater Madison area that you would be expected to familiarize yourself with.
Must have a clean driving records and a reliable vehicle to get to and from the office. Work vehicle is provided for during the day and during on-call times. The company pays for gas and maintenance. Must live within 30 minutes of Madison, WI.
