Very Responsible Older Single Man Looking for House to Rent

As the title says, I am an older single man currently looking for a house to rent. I have a long and excellent history as a responsible tenant. I am not a pet owner and a non-smoker. I treat rental properties and take care of them as though they were my own. Pay my rent on time always. I am employed full time at a job I have had for over 30 years.
I'm looking for a house only, no shared living situation. The size of the house is important, 1,600 sq ft + is preferred. Two or three bedrooms plus a family room preferred. Central air is a must. Dry and ample storage space required. Other features preferred: large garage, outside access to a deck and/or patio, fireplace, and, most importantly, ornamental garden space. I am an avid gardener and take a lot of pride in enhancing the property where I am living.
The house should have character and be in excellent condition. Rental amount up to $2,600.
