Part-Time, Early Evening In-Home Caregivers Needed
SALARY: $22-24/hour (good pay, good boss)
SCHEDULE:
• EVENING HOURS: 3 hours on 4 weekdays, arrive between 4:30-5:00pm (arrival time will be determined in advance). My Caregiver assists with stretching, personal care, makes dinner and prepares it for eating, light housework, and goes through an evening routine that involves changing for bed, and setting me up to sleep.
ROUTINES:
• The afternoon schedule involves any of the following:
help with stretching,
light housework,
light cooking and feeding,
positioning pillows for sleep.
ABOUT YOU:
• You must be female
• English is your first language,
• you are physically healthy and strong,
• you have a valid driver's license and insurance,
• you have personal reliable transportation, and,
• you prefer long-term commitments.
ABOUT ME:
I am an easy to get along with (most of the time) 70-year-old woman who became quadriplegic 12 years ago. I am mostly paralyzed from the neck down. My brain continues to refuse to accept that I can no longer engage in my pre-injury activities. Luckily, I am happy to do anything involving movement like strengthening and stretching. I thrive on humor and laughing. I hope you do too!
