Home vermicompost bin ready to go, includes bedding (newspaper shreds), starter mix (coir, dirt, vermicastings) and some happy red wigglers (Eisenia fetida). 3 stackable bins are perforated on the bottoms so worms can migrate upwards toward new food sources as they finish off the compost below. The bottom bin serves as a catch for microbial-rich leachate. Start with one bin with bedding, add your kitchen compost scraps each week (avoid dairy, meat, fats or potential contaminants) and watch your new little pets go hog-wild.
