Lemonweir River Farms is a locally owned farm owned and operated in the Clifton area by a retired husband wife team, Tim and Vicki. Our mission is to inspire and encourage others to achieve a more self-sustainable lifestyle, whether you are on a homestead or in an urban area.

We use utilize an all organic practice to raise our flocks without hormones, growth stimulation, antibiotics or any other chemical products providing the best organic nutrients to ensure quality eggs and meat. Our farm is NPIP certified 35-0909 (National Poultry Improvement Plan), which means our flocks meet specific health standards, tested and free of certain poultry diseases including Salmonella, Mycoplasma and Avian influenza.

Khaki Campbells are a beautiful velvet brown breed and prolific layers, over 300 annually. This breed is a British breed developed in England in the 1900's from the Indian Runner, Rouen and Mallard. This bird is a used for a dual purpose, but mostly for egg production. They weigh between 3.5-5.5 lbs. Their hardiness in cold weather, ability to forage well and laying ability makes them perfect for homesteads.
