For a backyard setting with limited space, a mini turkey might be preferable to the Broad Breasted varieties.
Classic Minis are hardy, stocky, and adaptable to outdoor environments. They thrive as free-range turkeys.
Similar in appearance to the Broad Breasted White turkey, weighing in at about half the size once they reach maturity. They have beautiful white feathers and a strong, robust appearance. These birds do not have dark pin feathers, so they pluck and dress well for easy processing.
