Getting out of horses:
We have limited history on both prior to our ownership, as both were adopted.
Would love for them to go together if possible as they love eachother but will separate if needed-
2🥕🥕🥕 each OR
3 🥕🥕🥕 FOR BOTH
will trailer around Cambridge, WI area for small fee
THESE ARE NOT SHOW READY HORSES. Great project horses though!
They have both been ridden and need some work/ refreshers. Intermediate to advanced ride for Aussie, beginner - intermediate for Moon Pie
The Good for both:
Trailer easy
Stand for ferrier
Vetted
Ground manners
Good for cinching, saddle, and taking bit
Have been trail and arena ridden (it has been ~2 years)
Work in round pen
Friendly
Rough boarded
Never blanked for winter
Allow fly spray
No bite
Round bales no supplements needed
Sounds horses
Aussie: 12 yr Paint Gelding ~16.2 h
Owned since 2023: - “the semi-project” is eager to work wants to do things. Middle to top pecking order, over all nice guy.
“The bad: “
-When we brought him back into work last fall, he started to crow hop under saddle, this seems to be an issue we believe will go away with some constant work, it does not appear to be pain/malicious related, more of a out of shape attitude
-tries to stomp overly obnoxious dogs and cats in his pasture randomly but will other times leave them be
Moon Pie: 19-21 (we think) yr Standard bred Gelding ~16.2 h
Owned since 2021 - uncertified awesome horse, SLOW AF, bottom of pack, has been camping and was a perfect gentleman perfect for beer drinking. Could be great dad horse as a dad has ridden him historicity
“The bad”:
-Blind in the left eye due to Uveitis-mostly quiet but he does wear a fly mask 24/7 to protect it” and other eye is not affected.
-a follower on trail likely is cautious at times due to being vision impaired
-until he bonds with you he could care less if you exist can be occasionally hard to catch for fly spray, but once caught stands, quiet and loves apples
