For sale: 14 month old red laying hens from Sunnyside Hatchery. Choose any 4 from flock of 11. Flock is laying 9-11 large brown eggs per day. $10 apiece. Also available are up to six 2 1/2 month old red female chicks, same breed as hens. Price is $ 8 each. This breed starts laying at 5 months and lays well during cold weather. Note that if you would take a combination of hens and chicks, mature hens sometimes will harass chicks unless they are kept separate. Mine are kept apart. All are healthy.
Buyer needs to bring own container for transport.
