I have a great vintage/mcm shell chair for sell. Unfortunately no legs/base just the shell. It is in very good condition but probably needs a little polishing to make it look the best. Based on the looks of the fiberglass this is an early example, I think it would be called "parchment" style. I guessing this is mid 1950's. but don't really know for sure. I'm not sure of the manufacturer, I don't see any imprints on the bottom and I've been unable to match it to my satisfaction with pictures of other examples.

It should be fairly easy to find a set of legs or base for this. Last time I checked there are a lot of options available (straight legs, rocking chair, swivel base, etc). As you can see in the pictures there are threaded rods in place to bolt a new set of legs to it.

Asking $30 obo (cash of course).
