For sale is a custom 15-gallon brewing kettle from Spike Brewing. I had the kettle modified by Spike to add an extra port for whirlpool (see attached customization diagram from Spike). It has two NPT ports horizontally placed near the bottom of the kettle and one custom port above the leftmost port. It has a stepped bottom, which aids in draining the kettle while leaving the trub behind. The thick bottom helps to disperse heat and avoid scorching. There are etched volume markings that can be clearly read. The kettle comes with a lid, which conveniently rests on the rubberized handles while brewing. I've kept it clean after each batch.

Also included are two pickup tubes with compression/push fittings, two NPT ball valves, two 1/2" NPT x 1/2 tubing barb fittings, and one adjustable-face thermometer.

I paid about $425 for kettle, customization by Spike, and accessories. If assuming the same customization cost of $30, the package would be just shy of $500 now.
