The head and feet go up and down as does the whole entire bed. We also purchased the handrails for the head of the bed. They can be removed if not needed. The frame is voice-activated (but also comes with a remote).
It is brand new - we are going to have to purchase a hospital bed for our needs and were unable to return it.
No mattress just the frame and handrails.
Will need a couple strong people to carry the frame out of the bedroom - we do have a ramp.
