Six months ago Nikki and Randy Piskula had a beautiful baby boy named Jackson. Jackson was born a perfectly normal baby. Nikki and Randy were ecstatic, they were so happy to add this little guy to their growing family. They noticed that his eyes were misaligned most of the time which was different from their first two boys. They diagnosed him with 6th nerve palsy, requiring surgery. They did a brain scan on him and found that Jackson had a defective pituitary gland, called Hypopituitarism. Even with the help of his life long requirement of hormone therapies he will never have normal function of his pituitary gland. Jackson also has a tumor on his Hypothalamus which is connected to to the pituitary stem called Hypothalamic Hamartoma and it is inoperable. He will have laser treatments his whole life to shrink it. The treatment will cause early puberty (estimated to be around 2 years old), and seizures. This little guy has had one successful operation with many more in the future. The Piskula Family would truly benefit from your generosity at this time of uncertainty and fear of what is ahead of their son and family. Please consider banning together to help a deserving family in your community. Come for a fun and delicious way to meet some new friends and neighbors.
