• THIS CAR HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR TOWING OR RACING. I am not a race car driver, I am a lazy driver and other drivers hate me.
• THIS IS THE 3.0 LL BEAN EDITION – It has a Boxer 6 cylinder. Be CAREFUL passing someone for the first time or you WILL clip them pulling out.
• No lights on dash, and I did NOT erase any lights.
• Include 6 CD original sound system AND Subwoofers under the driver’s seat.
• AWD
• Windshield wiper sprayer is wimpy.
• Two Rust Spots, very clean
• Heat and A/C both work
• Parking brake recently fixed and
recent brakes done
• Clean title, no liens
• No accidents in the time I’ve owned it. I bought it in 2019. I don’t know about earlier, but when we got it, it was in very poor repair, and we fixed everything that was wrong with it.
• Runs well this is my daily driver, and I adore this car. It’s comfortable and reliable.
• Green exterior, beige leather Interior
• Heated Leather (passenger front seat only – the subwoofer is under the driver’s seat)
• Large sun and moon roof with shade – roof opens but doesn’t like to close, I have not investigated this yet
• Seats fold down for large items
• Roof rack beams – the front one is dented, see photo
• Second set of BRAND NEW tires is available, see photo for brand and stats. Tires on are worn but serviceable.
• Two sets of keys, one remote
• Spare tire in trunk
• Gas cap lock and key in trunk
What you should know:
• Our Mechanics are 710 in Boscobel.
• Driver side chair has two tears from wear
• Driver side seat belt is stained and some stains in the cream carpet
• I did my best to detail, but there is still husky fluff here and there
• Driver side door handle is stiff needs work
• Driver side oh shit handle is worn and rough.
• Rust spot center of front roof
• The cap for the windshield washer fluid was lost and I have a temporary one from our old rust wagon.
• The information tags on driver's door are torn up and hard to read.
• Dent in roof racks, front
• Center console back drink holder is missing, it was when we got it.
• Right passenger mirror is damaged
– still moves
• Steering wheel needs a cover
• Rust spot on driver’s door where someone hit my car with their door
• Scuffs on back bumpers along with some stickers
• It has tried to overheat on us during a cross country road trip at hour 8 or so by Chicago in stop and go traffic. We immediately pulled over before it could. (This car has an aluminum block. We did NOT let it overheat. Overheating in a Subaru will warp the engine block.) Mechanics could NOT find anything wrong with it, both the mechanic in the town we stopped in by Chicago and our local mechanic. Locally I’ve been driving it for work to and from Prairie du Chien to Dodgeville, Richland Center, and Viola with no issues, no increase in temperature.
• You should ABSOLUTELY replace the timing belt immediately when you get it. That’s good policy for any old Subaru!
Why am I selling my car when I clearly like it?
I’m paying for a funeral, that’s why. I put everything I could in with it to add value. It’s my family’s funeral, so it’s my car that is being sold – my husband is the car guy so you will likely see his cars – they’re not for sale, sorry! My other car still has a lien on it, so I’m not selling that. Which leaves my little Green Bean.
What payments will you accept?
Cash, obviously, and I have a pen to check it. BUT, if you need to get a used car loan from your bank, we can discuss because I get things are tight. Keep in mind that your bank will only cover the car, and not the tires or sound system that I’ve priced into this. If you are local and use People’s State Bank, we have a branch in town that we can work with.
Why was this listing so damn long?
I'm a little Neurospicy and wanted to disclose EVERYTHING I could possibly think of and cover all situations. If you see something I don't, tell me and I'll add it to the listing.
