1969 Road Runner. This is a true RM21. With #’s matching (E63) 383 CID 4-barrel 335hp and (D32) 727 heavy duty Automatic transmission. The car is finished in its original (R6) Scorch red. I am the 4th owner and have had the car since 2004. It has 87,000 miles on it. Fender tag and vin tag are present and match.
The car underwent a nut/bolt rotisserie restoration almost 20 Year ago, and still looks like new. The body is strait and rust free. It does have a few scratches and a door ding, but the car is a real head turner. It’s not perfect but in amazing condition for 20-year-old restoration. every time I drive it a get thumbs up. It has won a few trophies from local car shows. Almost every part has been restored or replaced. New fuel tank, stainless fuel lines. Stainless brake lines, suspension, beep-beep horn, transmission rebuilt last year. Upgraded bolster buckets seats, new carpet, auto meter gauges and tach, (nothing was cut on the dash for stereo or gauges) custom made counsel, B&M shifter, glass is all good condition. bumpers are prefect. all lights work as they should. The car runs, stops and drives great.
The car currently has a 440 with #’s matching 727 transmission in it. I have the #’s matching 383 complete minus the exhaust manifolds. The original motor (383) was rebuilt 20 years ago and probably has 100 miles on it. I pulled it out when it broke a valve. It didn’t hurt the motor the piston has a small ding on it, but no internal damage. it’s getting very hard to find these with #matching so rather than go threw it, I pulled it and dropped in the 440.
The car spends most of its time in the garage under a cover. I enjoy building them so I am going to list this cart to make room for a new project. Would consider partial trades for 71-72 roadrunner/satellite, 70-74 cuda, 67-70 gto/tempest many consider other muscle cars.
My FIRM price is 48,000 or it will stay in the garage under cover. I don’t need to sell it it’s just a shame it doesn’t get used more often. If you want a really good deal, I think the car is worth 55-60k. but I would sell it to you (AND ONLY YOU) for 48,000. Scammers and low ballers save our time. clean title in my name.
The car is located in Madison WI. 608-77two479six.
