It's got 34,852 original miles on it. For the last ten years it has been used almost exclusively from May - August by a local nonprofit for transporting youth to an agricultural employment program in rural Fitchburg. It was purchased for this purpose from a seller in Virginia. It's not quite the same as only driven to church and the grocery store by Aunt Delores, but it's close.
Due to the lack of exposure to Dane County's robust, winter road brine application, there is no rust on the body, although there is some showing up on the wheels.
All regularly scheduled service, maintenance, and annual safety inspections have been completed by Percy's Service Station in Madison.
Aside from the edge of the front passenger bench (see pics), the fabric seats are intact and in good shape. The heat, AC, radio, cd player, electric seats, backup camera, power windows, and device outlets work properly.
It drives smoothly, handles well in slippery conditions, and accelerates with purpose, when changing lanes on the Beltline. The tires have fewer than 5000 miles on them.
There is one downside of which you should be aware. This vehicle likes to be driven. When it sits for an extended period of time (one month), especially in the winter, the battery tends to drain. Percy's thoroughly troubleshot this issue, and could find no problems with the electrical system. It's got a brand new battery in it, and that has helped. When it is driven on a regular basis, there are no starting issues, including in cold weather.
