1988 CHAPARRAL TIME CAPSULE! An immaculate, almost all-original, trouble-free boat. This boat starts every time and never sputters on the water. This is a worry-free boat ready for the next family to have a blast and create some memories. I bought this boat from the original owner 6 or 7 years ago. It is all-original except for the carpeting, some vinyl, and the bluetooth stereo. The seat have no tears, and only a few blemishes. The 3.7L 4 cyl is a really dependable engine. It has 165 HP, so it's not going to pull an adult slalom out of the water, but if you're looking to pull some tubers or small skiers, this super clean boat is going to serve you really well. We had a lot of great hours on the lake with this boat, but my kids are out of the house or too old to pull, so we're gonna let someone else enjoy this beauty.
Everything works except for the Fuel Gauge & Trim Gauge. The fuel gauge has never worked, I just always fill it up before we head out for a long day and also keep a backup gallon of gas on the boat. The trim gauge came back from Rock Marina not working after they adjusted the timing and did a tune up last season. I'm still trying to figure out what they did there. The hull has some typical dock rash, and the teak ski platform could use cleaned & oiled.
You won't be disappointed when you see/drive this boat. The pics don't really do it justice. I'll throw in some ski ropes, tube and a few life vests. text Justin at 4one4-TwoOneSeven-17FiveTwo
