This skiff was made in Wisconsin in the 1920's or 1930's. It is wood with a canvas skin. The craftsman that made it offered these boats with either a flat transom or pointed stern. It was operated with a set of reverse oars which aren't included. These skiffs needed to be submerged in water to get the wood to swell to seal up the joints which made them water tight.
I'm posting this for a friend so if you'd like to see it in person or buy it we'll need to coordinate a bit. I'm located in Madison, WI and my friend is located in the Hartford, WI area.
Serious inquiries only please. Reasonable offers will be considered. I'm also willing to trade fully or partially for other waterfowling equipment (commercial made boat blind; cork, wood or plastic decoys; g u n s; shells; 12' to 14' john boat; small working outboard; canoe, or whatever else you may have).
I currently only have the 4 photos that are shown. I can get additional photos if needed.
If you have any additional information about this boat, please feel free to share.
