Bought new at the Madison West Trek store sometime between 95 to 97. According to the salesperson that I bought it from and what I can find on web searches, this was the last Klein MTB frame designed and built by Klein before Trek purchase of Klein in 95.
This is how I bought the bike since I have made no changes to it.
