In 2004-5 Trek sold this bike that was manufactured by Dahon. It differs from Dahons of the time in the hanbdlebar design, the aluminum frame, the hinge design and paint color. When I got it from the bike shop where I worked as a mechanic in 2019 it had been stripped so I replaced parts (including upgraded wheels, seat and post, fenders, chain, rack and cables). The upgraded wheels were new when I put them on as were the Kenda Kwest 1 1/4" tires. The paint is a little rough in spots, apparently where a previous owner banged it up with a lock. It includes a kickstand with boot. The chainguard is completely intact. All folding hardware is intact and functioning. I've been riding it occasionally but put only a few hundred miles on it. It's not only a great bike for travel and local riding, but a part of Trek history. When they decided they couldn't sell enough of them to warrant making their own version they abandoned plans for any future models. Available for testride and pickup at the Madison Bodgery makerspace. Storage bag available at extra cost. Selling due to limited space.
