As the Victor Talking Machine Company started to lose business to radio, they brought out an increasingly wide range of new styles, the strangest being the "humpback" console with the curved lid of the older victrola style sitting on a longer console cabinet with a larger horn and more record storage. The most deluxe model available in oak is this VV-300, which has a massive four spring motor. The fancy gold plated tonearm fits in well with this uncommon tiger grain mission oak finish. This machine is all original, a good original finish, good gold plating, gold key, and a smooth running motor, price $185. I also have Victor's smallest floor model, the VV-80 ($110), and a few tiny VV-IV table model phonographs for sale, as well as Edison cylinder and Columbia disk machines and records, and assortment of high fidelity electric phonographs.
