All original Mission/Arts and Crafts/Prairie-style rocking chair, ca. 1910-1920. Made in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, by the well-known and sought-after Crocker Chair Co. Sturdy, quarter-sawn oak with original finish and hardware in very good to excellent shape at 100+ years old. Crocker model 5 441-4. From what I can determine in catalogs, chair was made after 1895 and before 1924, most likely 1910-20. Original seat frame and seat; cushion fabric was reupholstered by McGilligan's of Madison, probably in the late 1950s or 1960s. A beautiful antique that is still usable as an everyday piece.
