Offering a Vintage 3-piece Cream City Juicy-Krisp Roasting Pan. Antique enamelware item (which replaced tinware) but still functional and usable. Cool rounded design. There is a dent on one "corner" of the cover which I took THREE pics of to show it clearly. It's vintage 20's thru 40's and this is the "blue granite" finish I think.
Cream City (officially Geuder, Paeschke & Frey (or GPF) in 1908) was situated in the old industrial section of Milwaukee at 324 N 15th Street (among other locations in and out of the city and state). The company built the property in 1890. It had a cream city brick exterior. Milwaukee brick soon became known for its bright, creamy color (due to elevated amounts of lime and sulfur in the river valley soil), earning Milwaukee the nickname "Cream City" (an early National League baseball team, the Cream Citys, began play in Milwaukee in 1865). Geuder & Paeschke adopted the "Cream City" trademark, with the slogan "Cream City Ware Never Disappoints". There, some history. Aren't you glad you stopped by?!?!?!?
Asking $25. Please put "CREAM CITY" in subject line and see NOTE below.
NOTE: I'm in an apartment where it is impossible to have any rummage or yard sale, so I have other things listed here on CL. Please click the button to the right that says "more ads by this user." Also, I'm in a small town on bike these days, so please don't bother me with requests to deliver this, or meet half way. I only use public wifi internet at local wifi spots due to a part-time income budget, so a phone call is FASTER but I usually can't return calls until after 5PM or sometimes the next day. Please be patient. Until I get a new phone, I'm using a google-voice number. Thanks for looking.
