Offering a RARE type of rocking chair, vintage early- to mid- 1900's, probably 40's or 50's. Made at the Tell City Chair Company. Everything is original and in great condition for its age, including the seat. The armrests have slight wear to them, but this is mostly very light discoloration from use by hands and arms. These types of rockers sit VERY LOW to the ground, this one only being just over 13 inches from the floor! If it were made in China, you know it would have been landfill refuse years ago!

I'm sorry for the photos with shadows. I moved into a smaller place and this is my only window with light at the time.
