Sherman Terrace condos were built in the 1940s. There are six units per building, all brick. They were built with plaster and cement, so you do not hear your neighbor walking around upstairs. Some have new wood floors and stainless steel appliances. Because of their age, the trees are mature, and there are quiet, shaded sidewalks and backyards. The winding street that meanders through the community is unlike today's cookie-cutter apartments.

You are far away from the foolishness but close enough to participate if you desire. You are located on the near east side, making it a snap to get on the highways or MATC. It is one of the best locations for "downtown" living without the hassles of parking and noise. Free off-street parking.
