It's easy to facilitate SMART Recovery self-help meetings which provide a SCIENCE-BASED SECULAR program for people seeking independence from harmful addictions. Volunteers have found the experience of facilitating SMART Recovery meetings deeply satisfying and the attendees appreciate you. And you gain skills and experience toward other pursuits and resume enhancement.
Meeting last 90 minutes and you decide if you want to help out once a week or once a month. In Madison we meet Tuesdays at 7 pm at the VA Hospital (Room A2043 in the main hospital building) and Wednesdays at 7 pm at the Wil-Mar Center (953 Jenifer St) - and we could add more meetings, convenient to your schedule, IF YOU BECOME A VOLUNTEER.
