It seems that semester-long leases in Madison are virtually nonexistent, and since I'm graduating in the fall, I might not be sticking around here until August. If there's anybody out there who only needs a place to live in the spring/summer, maybe we can figure something out that works for both of us.

I'm currently looking for an efficiency or one bedroom in the Bassett neighborhood/West Wash area, or around the south side of the capitol. I like places with lots of windows, hardwood floors, paintable walls, a decent-sized kitchen area, and rent around $500-550/month. We are open to alternatives, such as a short-term sublet, month-to-month rental, house-sit, etc. Around $600/ month is our price rage. We will even live in your home that you are selling.

We have just spent 9 weeks selling our home while living in it and are quite experienced at staging, exiting before a showing and living in a "showroom". We can do this for your for sale property however, we are not bringing much furniture with us.


We do have some requirements: washer/dryer is mandatory, garage a plus, not to be located downtown, no student housing and no roommates.

Our preference would be Monona, Middleton, Verona, Sun Prairie or any other nicer surrounding areas.

So what's my deal? I need a temporary place to stay after my current lease ends, and before I move out of town in the fall. Would prefer a month-to-month commitment at least thru October.
