The camper could use a set of new tires, too. I did remove the water holding tank to make room for the 12v marine battery and trickle charger that runs the radio i put in it, but we didn't need the water tank cause we always camped where there was fresh water hook ups.
Included in this sale is a 1977 Jayco Pop-up Camper, 110v power cord, the larger refrigator, 2 grilles, propane tank (empty), pioneer car radio (I don't know if the cd player works any more), speakers, 12v marine battery, trickle charger, microwave, one support jack, water filter and fresh water hoses, ceramic space heater, 2 spare tires, one clip hanging fan, amplified tv antenna, and other misc stuff. There is a double bunk that folds out on the opposite side. There are storage bins along each side (6 compartments in all) and 4 drawers along the front.
There are two single beds (one along the front, one along the hinged side) and a double (the area that folds out). The double bed makes a shelf underneath it for easy accessible storage. I also have the original cots that are supported by brackets on the interior roof. In prior years, they held children, suitcases and supplies. They are in very good shape and hold over 100 lbs each. (I do not have photos at this time of them. They are white canvas and white metal tubing, approximately 7'x 3' each. One sits over each of the single bed areas.
Unknown weight, but can be hauled with just about anything, 4 cylinder and up, maybe even a motorcycle. It uses a 1 7/8” ball, 4 prong plug for tail lights. I can move it around easily by hand. I assume it is under 300 lbs. dry weight. There is no title for this, but will provide a “Bill of Sale” if requested.
Closed dimensions are approximately 8' 6" long X 6'4" wide, aluminum box with plywood re-enforcement, all in very good shape, some paint peeling near front (See pictures)
Approximate inside center height is well over 6 ½ feet.
The tenting is a replacement from the original canvas, now nylon. It attaches to the unit with snaps, like the original canvas, all snaps are intact, solid and work. There are NO HOLES in the screening. One screen COVER in the front has a few rips in it, but does not affect its usefulness. There are a few TINY holes (three in all) smaller than ¼ the size of a dime, a very large tarp will be included to keep bird droppings and tree sap off. It also acts as a rain fly in the event of a heavy downpour.
There are extra bearings and grease for your convenience and an extra ball hitch that will come with it. Tires are in good condition and do not appear to have any dry-rot.
The flooring is solid and does not have any soft spots, as is the top. The top has a fiberglass patch near the front middle and holds great.
No electric, water or stove… just a place to keep your things dry and a place to rest your head. I took along a small gas grill (or used the fire) to cook on, and used a power strip for electric. New stablizing stands included.
Great for hunting, fishing, camping trips... OR turn it into a hauling trailer.
