The recycling should be mandatory. Sometimes people don't do the right things for the earth unless is mandatory. The excuse of my landlord is that recycling is not a law. Make it a law then or make then pay more in fines than it would cost them to recycle. Don't wait until is too late for the planet, BTW, for that matter, don't worry about the planet, take care of Madison! The landfill lifespan is known to be much shorter than expected.
