Hi,

My dog was being watched by someone in South Milwaukee and she is moving to a place that does not allow dogs and I im in my current lease until August, which does not allow pets at all. I am trying to re-locate with my company so they will help get me out of my lease before August, but if not I need to find someone or a place that can help watch my dog until I am able to get back to my house so I can be happy with her again. Her name is Gracie and is a very friendly and awesome dog. She enjoys all people and likes to play.

If you might be able to help watch her, I would come over and get her for the day regularly until I get to a place that will allow dogs. She means the world to me and I do not like the position that I am in. I would be willing to pay the right person some money for helping me with this. We no longer have a large dog, and actually have 2 of these Dog Doors that are for use with a Patio Door. Click on the link below to take you to a site that can give you an idea of what this looks like. Mine is the brown color though. Brand new condition nothing is wrong with this and its clean. Its just the door though, you'll have to buy weather stripping at your local store. I never received hardwar with this either. Right now we are using our small sized door for our little dogs, wich is the exact same thing, just for smaller dogs. And we don't have hardwar for that either. We just have it installed in the patio doors grooves and have a patio door lock that had been installed on the other side of the patio door. I can show you what I mean if you chose to come take a look. We have ours all sealed up for winter, with our own handmade door house attached to our patio door, to help with any winter breezes that might come in the home through the flap. Up for sale is a LARGE Dog Door. Great for German Shepherds and Lab sized dogs. GREAT to help them go outside and come back in when your busy or not home for long hours. Of course if you have a fenced in yard or small area outside this so they don't run away. Comes with a door to close this up so you can stop them from going outside or comming in as well. The measurements are for approx 80 inch high patio door, (this is adjustable at the top spring loaded). The door pannel measurements are over all 81-1/2 by 13-1/2 inches. The dog door opening (area the dog would fit through) is 10-1/2 wide by 15-1/2 High. The rise (from the floor to the area where the dog would need to step over, is about 9 inches 9-1/2 inches high off the ground.

Again you can see a photo at this link, to get an idea of prices brand new, as well as what this looks like. Mine is the brown color. Its not the silver or white. Great Condition. Over $200 new...Asking $150.00 which is a GREAT STEAL.

I have a Sturdi Products double security/show cage, pocket skirt, plain skirt and grooming station. All are in burgundy w/black mesh and trim. There are a lot of pockets for grooming products, business cards, etc. and picture holders The cage was used approx. six times and the grooming station only 2-3 times. I also have the fleece pad that covers half the cage floor and fleece hammock. The cage has a zip divider if you want two smaller cages and the end zips to add an additional Sturdi Cage. There are handy carrying cases for both cage & grooming station. Everything is in excellent condition w/no rips or tears, all zippers work. They are currently 11 weeks old (born 8/23/2009, have had their 1st vaccinations, but are due for the next ones very soon.

Hi, I am a foster for the Dane County Friends of Ferals and I have two beautiful kittens that are up for adoption and looking for their forever home. The male is a black and white tuxedo color and he is super spunky, super playful, and very very curious. He follows my boyfriend and I around the house everywhere and has to check out everything we're doing- he especially likes to watch us clean out his catbox =). The other is a female and she is a gorgeous solid black. She loves to play and snuggle up to our other cats, where she usually is found either purring away or sleeping right up close to. They are brother and sister and they get along very well and are best friends. I would love for them to go to a home together because not only are they such a great pair, but I think they would really help each other adjust to a new environment because they would have a familiar face that would comfort them. If you have no other cats, they would keep each other company while you're at work/school/etc so they wouldn't get lonely (and sometimes lonely kittens can get into trouble). That being said, these kittens get along GREAT with other cats, so if you have a cat(s) already, their would be no problem on their end. Like I said, I would love for this bonded pair to go together, but if you're only looking for one and are interested, have any questions, or would like to see more pictures, please email me or give me a call. Hi, I'm Cecilia! I'm very pretty, obviously. I love to wake up with you in the morning - or at least let you know it's time to get up. If you're sleeping in too much, I might just curl up on top of you and meow every time you hit the snooze button. Come on, the sun's already up!

I like to play with everything! It's amazing how almost anything can wriggle if you bat it around enough. My favorite toy at the moment is a long bit of ribbon. I have to wrestle with it several times a day, just to let it know who's boss.

I love being pet, and often feel the need to find you and curl up on your lap. My foster mom always ends up sitting around for longer than she'd planned, because I've fallen asleep on her and she doesn't want to wake me.
Most of all, I love the bathtub! It's so big and exciting and slippery, and I can pop out from behind the shower curtain whenever I want! And I know my water bowl is refilled twice a day, but the water that drips from the faucet is just so much better.

I'm not a huge fan of being picked up. I'll put up with it for a while but I really prefer to have all four paws on the ground. I'm also not very good with kids: they're cute but they're so...tuggy. I am a magestic creature and I do not appreciate being tugged. I'm somewhat choosy about cat friends: some I like and some I don't, but I'd certainly be willing to meet your cats and see if we hit it off!

Hi! I'm Josie, and I'm quite a character. You can tell it from my voice alone: I have a very low, mopey meow, despite being a very happy cat. When I get into a talkative mood, it sounds like I'm saying "why? why?" in a melodramatic tone to rival Hamlet.

I'm very cute, and VERY big. I am the roundest cat my foster mom has ever seen. I have a big jolly tummy that I love to show off by rolling around on my back. I LOVE people to rub my belly! I may be holding in a few extra pounds, but it's just because I'm so full of love!

I'm a pretty relaxed cat. I like to take long naps in comfy places. My two favorite nap spots are on the couch, and on the floor right next to the heater. But the ultimate best place to hang out is on your lap! Sure, I'll take up the whole lap, but if I can fit on there I'm never moving! And I like to knead my paws the entire time, just to keep you paying attention.

I like other cats just fine, although I bond more with some than others. I prefer to hang out with older cats: those young sprites can be so silly and jumpy. They just don't know how to nap properly.

In my experience rabbits themselves DO NOT SMELL. Unneutered males will sometimes have a musky scent. They are by nature very tidy animals - Sometimes their poop will be stinky, but all that means is that you need to change the diet - tons of info out there on that. Really, if a rabbit or its enclosure is stinky, SOMEBODY needs to change the litter. It's not that much compared to dogs and cats, I think, but it can still add up. I will be honest with you I have rabbits - that can be managed by
1. Frequent cage cleaning (twice a week is best)
2. Buying/Adopting/Rescuing a spayed/neutered rabbit
3. Buying a supplement to go in their water that neutralizes the odor of the urine (Idon't have to do this)

My rabbits have neat idea cube cages and its lined with carpet- and there is their litter box filled with a small amount of yesterday new litter and oat hay or orchard grass. It's changed twice a week.

When it all boils down anyone(human/aniaml) can smell, If you care enough for that animal you are going to make sure hygiene is kept in ordor like you would want someone to do for you if you could not do it yourself.

We have a super sweet adult male orange cat who must find a new place to live.
I wish that we could keep him but our allergies are getting worse now that we can�t leave the windows aren�t open all the time and nothing seems to help.

Cooper is GORGEOUS!
Cooper is front paw declawed and we were told he could be around 8 years old-although he is super frisky and LOVES to play-very kitten like-he will all of the sudden just dive on a toy and start tossing it around and shaking it.

He is FIV/FelV negative, up to date on shots and we were told he is neutered but he is so fluffy he could be hiding something-seriously he has the cutest poof butt-along with that awesome tail which he loves having stroked-which is good because it is impossible to keep your hands off -You will have to meet him in person to see what I mean.
I think the big boy is micro chipped-I�ll have to check his papers

Round golden cheetah eyes,
Fluffy thick fox tail including with a lighter colored tip on the end
Plus Cooper has a Luxurious Persian coat-that feels about 4 inches deep

Cooper must not have had stairs in his previous home because he jumps up and down them with both the front legs and then the back legs going together to the next stair-from the back he looks like a gigantic bouncing bunny.

When Cooper came home with us he was very scared and thin, he had been a foster cat for a brief time and they had given him the name Cooper because they weren�t sure what his given name was. He has really opened up and is clearly loved, we have made the point to say his name constantly because I can�t imagine how scary it was for him to be given up after several years and then not to hear his own name again.

WE brought Cooper home to be a playmate for our senior boy cat-they tolerate each other but the only love is coming from Whiskers-who loves anyone he can-dog, cat, squirrel�you name it he tries to be their friend.
Our male neighbor cat comes around several times a week- Whiskers & he have conversations through the screen door so they are used to each other. Cooper didn�t like Whiskers when they were introduced �But when Tricky would come by Cooper would go ballistic-so I wouldn�t pair him with another boy cat�. HOWEVER the boys have lured in and adopted a young black feral cat-I can only guess that it�s a �she� because she has both boys under her spell.

If you like sleeping alone Cooper is not the cat for you. I will miss Cooper�s snuggling at bed time. He sleeps in the bed almost like a person. He jumps up on the bed and comes right up to my face and �barks� twice saying what sounds like �Nuff , Nuff� then he will just look at me doing that cute little barking noise until I have petted him �Nuff� for him to go to sleep.

I have some newer pictures and will add them as soon as I can find the cord to get them off my phone. These were his skinny scared foster pictures, he has truly blossomed!

Cooper has been spoiled with wet food twice a day in addition to dry food left out for him to snack on.
Cooper is the FIRST cat I have had that doesn�t beg for people food & once when we offered it he had NO interest-meanwhile we are used to Whiskers who tries to put you in a spell so you give him something off your plate.

Consider volunteering with DCFOF! Do you have one extra hour a week?
Don't take a cat nap - help a cat (or two or ten) instead!

DCFoF has many ways in which to volunteer your time. You let me
know what area you are interested, or a certain date you can
volunteer and we can do the rest! We are your one stop shopping!

Are you already volunteering in one area, but looking to also try
something else? We can help with that too!

Many of these projects can be small. For example: With helping with
volunteer aspects- we could use someone twice a month to attend DCHS
meetings to talk us up and gain volunteers. Two hours a month!! Or
find some free newspapers or websites to get us involved with to
recruit new volunteers. One or two hours a month!!

They can be small...they can be managable. But your group- DCFOF-
is growing and there are lots of way you can help! Again- just one
hour a week or less!!!

Volunteers Needed to Foster Cats - Please Consider

Dane County Friends of Ferals is a tax exempt 501(3)c organization that receives no government funding. The group is made up of 60 dedicated volunteers, a 10-hour-per-week veterinarian and 7 board members committed to creating a better future for feral cats. We are Dane County's primary resource for feral cat questions and assistance. Our mission is to establish a no-kill standard and to promote the value and well-being of Dane County's feral cats. We work to accomplish this mission by:

* Conducting targeted trap-neuter-return(TNR) to actively reduce the population size of feral cat colonies.
* Assisting rural residents wanting to responsibly manage their barn and feral cat colonies by loaning traps (returnable deposit) and providing low-cost spay/neuter options.
* Finding responsible caregivers to provide our feral cats a permanent, outdoor home.
* Placing our tame and affectionate cats into loving indoor homes.

Dane County Friends of Ferals came into existence because feral cats, considered unadoptable, had no place to go once they were trapped and brought to the local animal shelter. They were therefore killed. One day, Susan Krebsbach (or Dr. Susan), a volunteer veterinarian, saw a feral mother cat destined to be "put down" and said "No." She cared for the feral cat until she found a rural home that welcomed a healthy, spayed, outdoor cat, and promised to provide a lifetime of food, water, and shelter for their new mouser. Dr. Susan discovered an entirely untapped source of homes for feral cats: farms and horse stables who love cats for keeping their feed free of rodents. She proved that these cats have value and deserve to live just as any other. She asked the animal shelter to send other "unadoptable" cats her way. The feral cat program was born.

Roughly one-third of the cats who enter our program are not truly feral but simply scared. These cats greatly benefit from foster care and are ultimately adopted to loving, indoor homes. Litters of kittens from feral moms also need fostering. All you need is one room to separate your foster cat from your own cats, time to spend with your foster cat and the desire to make a difference in the life of a needy kitty.
