i've played guitar for 10+ years and should be better than i am. i can also handle some bass. a little keyboard if i practice it enough. i have ok equipment. a pretty good amp, some pedals and a few guitars. i also have a crappy casio keybooard that has some good organ sounds.
the music i'm into the most is all 60's stuff. pretty things, music machine, zombies, animals, cream, hendrix, dylan, the move, the doors, wimple winch, fleur de lys, sonics, guess who, shocking blue, silver apples, white noise, yardbirds, syd barrett, small faces, ennio morricone, etc. i'd throw more well known names in but why, really?
i'm starting this thing from scratch because i want to keep this separate from my other band. which is in a weird state right now anyway. i just want to find other people into the same music who want to play songs that have energy and structure. i am not trying to start radiohead because radiohead already exists. i'm not looking for virtuoso types, really. some knowledge of like the names of notes/chords/strings is helpful. i am available most nights and saturdays.
any race/sex/instruments welcome. i'm 29.
