This is a smaller sized Jazz Box hand made in Colorado. Stroup sells his guitars often on ebay, there are guitar reviews on Harmony Central. Specifics: lower bout 14", waist 8.5", upper bout 10.5", scale length is 25.5, nut width 1 & 25/32, as you can see has an end of the neck floating pickup, grover tuners. Will consider a trade for a good acoustic or resonator guitar of similar value.

VINTAGE GUITAR. This is an Epiphone Model 6732 guitar and was made in 1971. This guitar was one of the first made in Japan when the serial numbers did not conform to the Gibson format. As a result there is very little information on these models. I have only been able for run across one other 6700 series on Ebay since I got this guitar. It looks and plays like it were new but better due to aging. This acoustic is ideal for either the small framed person or those people that have collected a few too many beers around the waistline. It measures only 3.5 inches deep but has a beautiful sound. This guitar conforms to the typical specifications of this model for the period in which it was made, with dreadnought size body, laminated spruce top, laminated mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, unbound peghead with Epiphone logo, three-on-a-strip tuners, bolt-on neck construction with no heel, and white binding on the top and back edges of the body.

Fairly used Korg Micro X Synth/Midi Controller. Works perfectly. The only reason I'm selling is because I am going from hardware production to using software.A Great Buy!!!

P.S I'm also selling my Akai MPC 1000 w/128MB Memory for $700, However I am willing to sell both pieces of equipment to the same buyer for $1000.

Equipment Specifications/Review

MicroX - Compact Synth with Big Sounds
Korg always seems to be coming up with the coolest new products, but that shouldn't be a surprise, since Korg has produced some of the best-selling keyboards in the industry. Anyone remember the M1? Only the best selling keyboard of all time! But we're here to talk about the microX. Don't let its small size fool you. Under the hood lies one of the most versatile synths available today. And when you consider all its features and surprisingly affordable price, it has to rank as one of the best "bang for the buck" values in the industry. There's 64MB of ROM sample data, 640 programs, 384 combinations, time-tested HI synthesis, USB connectivity, dual polyphonic arpeggiators and studio quality effects. Designed to fit into today's computer-based home and on-the-go studio, the microX is the perfect complement for any musical genre, production style or performance scene. Yeah, you're gonna want one!

Korg microX Synthesizer Features at a Glance:

Compact, portable design with 25 full-size keys

HI Synthesis system accesses 64MB of ROM

640 programs and 384 combinations

Up to four studio quality effects at a time

Dual polyphonic arpeggiators

Compact, portable design with 25 full-size keys
The Korg microX might be compact, but there's nothing small about its sound or its feature set. So why build a synth this cool with just a two-octave keyboard? That's easy. Most keyboard players have all the big 61- or 88-note keys they need, so with a single MIDI cable, they can access all of the microX's incredible sounds. Of course, such a compact design means you can take the microX with you, wherever you go.

HI Synthesis system accesses 64MB of ROM
The Korg microX uses the exact same HI synthesis engine that has powered the world famous Triton line of workstations. There's a full 64MB of onboard ROM that includes Korg's best waveforms and samples. These are the same sounds that have fueled Korg's near-total domination of the synth workstation world - plus a few extra surprises. To create great music you have to have access to a great sound library that will inspire you, as well as help you fully realize your musical vision.

640 programs and 384 combinations
What's the use of having the best samples and waveforms if you don't put them to use in some truly awesome programs. Korg's expert programmers have long been recognized as being among the best in the business. For the microX, they created 640 of the most inspired programs we've ever heard, along with 384 combinations which include some exceptionally useful splits and layers.

Up to four studio quality effects at a time
Korg has always had some stunning effects. As far back as their analog PolySix, exceptional effects have been a Korg trademark. The effects selection on the microX are as good as anything we've heard in a long time. What's really exciting is that you can use up to four effects at a time. From rich reverbs to lush chorus to spacey flanging and beyond, you won't find yourself wishing for an external processor. Yes, they're that good!

Dual polyphonic arpeggiators and more
Among our favorite features on the microX are the dual polyphonic arpeggiators. These are light years ahead of the old up, down and up/down arpeggiators of the past. If you don't find all the inspiration you need here, you probably shouldn't be playing music. Other great features include editing software (standalone and plug-in), USB connectivity, a four-channel audio output and much, much more.

Fairly used Akai MPC 1000 w/128MB Memory Upgrade. Works perfectly. The only reason I'm selling is because I am going from hardware production to using software. A Great Buy!!!

Equipment Specifications/Review

AKAI MPC samplers have been used for years and have become the standard in Hip Hop and Electronica based music production. Even with the advancement of software samplers the AKAI MPC has proven to stand the test of time. Inheriting all the essential features which make the MPC series so iconic, the MPC1000 is not only a perfect complement to its larger MPC siblings, but a powerful Music Production Center in its own right. The MPC1000 combines a 64–Track MIDI Sequencer and a 32–voice Stereo Digital Sampler, with 16 velocity and pressure sensitive rubber pads.

The MPC1000 is amazingly portable. It takes up little space in the studio and is perfect for the traveling producer. The large 240 X 64 pixel LCD display allows for accurate editing of wav samples and drum programming. For outputs there are the main stereo outputs and two additional stereo outs as well as a S/PDIF digital out. The unit has dual midi ports and a variety of effects including: Chorus, Flanger, Bit Grunger, 4-Band EQ (parametric), Compressor, Phase Shifter, Reverb, Flying Pan and Tremolo. Q-Link sliders have been included which provide real-time control of a variety of parameters: Attack, Decay, Layer (velocity layer), Tune and Filter.

Both PC and Mac computers can communicate with the MPC1000 via its built–in USB port. To transfer data simply drag & drop between the computer and the MPC1000's Compact Flash card. The unit can also be upgraded with expansions. An internal hard drive can be added for convenient and easy access to samples and programs. Note: To install an internal hard drive the HDM-10 hard drive mounting kit is necessary. The EXM128 memory expansion can be added for increased sampling time.

Portable, durable and dependable the MPC1000 is a great choice for producers who want that classic MPC sound and feel in a compact package. It is no wonder why today's top producers use AKAI MPC sampling drum machines to create killer Hip Hop loops and grooves. Programming beats with the MPC1000 is a pleasure. Tap the tempo, hit start and bang those pads.
The amp is in like new condition. It has two eight inch, 50 watt drivers, and a 25 watt tweeder. It produces incredible sound, and can be used for personal use, and still has plenty of power for a show. The guitar is also in like new condition. It is easy to play, and sounds great with the amp. Includes a soft carrying case. It listed at around $600, and sold for around $350.

Yamaha Rhythm Programmer RY10 Drum Machine OBO (West Madison) $60

This Yamaha Rhythm Programmer RY10 Drum Machine is very lightly used in perfect working order. All details are listed below. Please call 608-442-0343 with any questions or respond to this ad.

Outstanding Rhythm & Bass
The AWM (Advanced Wave Memory) tone generator system delivers voices that have extraordinary depth and realism due to advanced sample recording and playback technology. With 250 rich, vibrant voices including a full range of acoustic drums and cymbals, traditional acoustic percussion and new electronic percussion sounds, plus several bass instruments that let you create rhythm backing to accompany you on your guitar, keyboard, or any other musical instrument.

Large Multi-Function Display and Matrix Function
Simultaneously displays all the information you need for any operation, a 24-LED beat indicator that makes detailed pattern programming easy and intuitive, and a matrix function selection system that provides instant access to any of RY10's functions.

Preset Patterns and Fill-ins
50 preset rhythm patterns covering a wide variety of musical styles are featured, each having an appropriate "fill-in" pattern, a variation of the preset that can be used for break fills, or to add a touch of rythmic variety wherever it is required, which, in effect, expands the preset patterns to 100 presets.

Program Your Own Patterns or Edit Presets
Patterns and fill-ins can be created from scratch, and presets can be edited to produce the desired rhythmic results. Edit your own creations to produce variations for chorus or fill. A "real-time record" mode lets you create pattern in real time by simply playing on the instrument pads, and a "step record" mode that makes it simple to program complex or fast patterns that would be difficult to play in real time. These can be stored in 50 internal pattern/50 fill-in memory locations.

Song Mode for Pattern Sequences
Song mode allows up to 36 pattern sequences to be easily recorded and stored in memory. You can specify the precise timing of fill-ins. There is also a chain song playback mode that allows several songs to be played in sequence for even further extended playback capability and a repeat mode that can be used for repeat playback of a single song or an entire chain. Extra versatility is provided by bass transpose and replace functions that make it easy to modify the song bass line.

"Pad Banks" Select From a Range of Instrument Kits
Sixteen preset "Pad Banks" each containing a complete set of 12 drum, 12 percussion, and 1 bass instrument, are featured. Sixteen internal Pad Banks can be programmed to create custom instrument combinations. A range of Pad Edit functions allow the pitch, pan position, and accent level of each voice to be set as required.

Guitar-Oriented Features
A number of features, such as line-input jack for guitar and bass, automatic guitar tuner, and versatile footswitch functions make the RY10 an ideal companion for guitar players.

Go-Anywhere Battery Power and Internal Monitor System
The RY10 can be run on battery power and has an internal monitor system that lets you creat original patterns and songs anywhere without the need for external equipment.

Other Important Features
A special "Swing" function can be used to give patterns a syncopated feel; Cassette interface allows data to be saved to standard audio cassettes and reloaded later whenever it is needed; Headphone jack for private monitoring and programming.

Bass Guitar 15" Cabinet with Horn Tweeter (West Madison) $95

This has been a great bass cabinet. I used it with my 2 x 10 cabinet, and it really added a lot to the low end. I bought it used about two years ago from Music-Go-Round, and it works just as well as the day I bought it.

I'm only selling it because I've upgraded to a much more expensive 15" cabinet. This will be a great upgrade for you if you're just using a 2 x 10 or 4 x 10 now. It's a Sonic brand, although it's not on the website because it's an older model: http://www.sonicspeaker.com/

It handles 200 watts, has an adjustable level control for the horn, and two inputs. Very sturdy and well made cabinet, with heavy-duty hardware and grille. It's not fancy or pretty or high end, but a good piece of equipment.

Call me anytime at 608-669-2652. If you want to try it out, bring your own head amp, as I don't have mine at home right now.

This clarinet was owned and loved by me and helped win me many medals. It is a sturdy well built instrument made to last, not like the cheap ones sold today. If there is anyone out there serious about their music and wants a truly fine clarinet to last a lifetime, this is it. It is in a Leblanc black case with red lining that is in fairly good shape. I would gladly send any pictures you would like. This is a high quality clarinet that anyone should be proud to own and play. Thanks for looking

Tech 21 Sansamp PSA-1 for Guitar, Bass (Madison East Suburban) $325

Plug your guitar into this box, and then into an amp or go direct to board or PA. This sansamp can also be used to modify already recorded material.

The PSA-1 is a powerful combination of ALL analog SansAmp tones,
unlimited editing and dependable digital programmability. The result is a phenomenal
pre-amp that can be mercilessly tweaked, while favorite sounds can be stored with
the push of a button. Each of the expanded range of eight controls, including usefully
defined parameters such as Buzz, Crunch and Punch, has 256 incremental steps for
ultra-precise adjustments.

• Very easy to move between patches, and to save new patches. There is one control knob for each tone modification for very easy tone manipulation.

• 49 factory presets of the most recognized vintage and modern tube amp sounds for guitar and bass, it can be used as a pre-amp, “monster direct box” to P.A. system, and as an outboard processor.

• 49 user presets

• Modifies both live and recorded material. I've heard that folks use it to "tweak" recordings of instruments besides guitars.

• Ability to handle both guitar "instrument level" input and line level inputs.

• Ability to output instrument level, line level, or xlr (very flexible!), in any combination simultaneously

• Front and Rear 1/4" input
• Stereo 1/4" output
• MIDI I/O
• Effects Loop with 50/50 switch
• Stereo XLR output (very handy)
• LED display
• Jack for momentary footswitch
• 100% analog tone modification, just like the Sansamp line that Tech21 is famous for.

• Also has midi

• Accepts momentary on footswitch to move among patches.

• Although this is a unit made for rack mount, it works great with regular guitar combo, or stack amps (it sits right on top of my stack). This unit is powered by 120 VAC.

• Check out the Tech21 site for this at
http://www.tech21nyc.com/psa.html

• Includes User Manual

SWR Electric Blue bass amp head with Ampeg PB112H Portabass Cabinet (East Suburban) $690

An ideal pair, one of the better small/medium sized bass amp heads, with a lightweight, very portable 12" cabinet from the legendary folks at Ampeg.
The preamp in the SWR Electric Blue is considered one of the finest.

The SWR Electric Blue is a 150 watt, "hand-built" head-only version of the SWR Baby Blue Studio Reference Bass System. It is housed in it's own mini road case with a removable, protective lid and handle.

• Features include a 12AX7A tube preamp, gain control, SWR exclusive Aural Enhancer control, semi-parametric Bass, Mid and Treble tone controls with both frequency selection control and level control for each. There are lights to indicate clipping in the preamp and power amp stages.

• A sidechain effects loop, where you can blend your effect-altered, and unaltered tones (you can also blend in line-level sound from an alternate source.)

• Controls to bypass effects, and bypass the Tone Control section.

• The carpet on the amp shows moderate wear, but does include the snap-on cover for the front control section (I've heard that the front cover is a rarity).

• Passive and Active inputs, balanced XLR out with XLR pad, Line out, Tuner out, effects send and receive jacks, headphone jack.

• Two speaker out jacks, capable of handling down to 4 ohms.

• The amp sounds great, and was recently checked out by a tech at a local music store.

The Ampeg cabinet weighs only 23 pounds. It is constructed of high-quality Italian Poplar plywood, a wood with both structural and sonic integrity, yet amazingly lightweight and easy to move. The removable, telescoping dolly-style handle allows you to "roll" to and from the stage, even if you're already carrying your bass.

• Variable HF "L-Pad", that allows you complete control of how much volume comes through the high frequency compression driver horn.

• 1/4" & Neutrik Speakon® Connectors

• Light Weight Italian Poplar Plywood Design

• Removable Telescoping Dolly-Style Handle with Wheels

. The Ampeg PB112H is in mint condition. It was purchased new from a Wisconsin based music store, and has been used only in my smoke-free studio, for less than 100 hours, never near full power rating.

• Lightweight neodymium twelve inch speaker, cabinet dimensions 17x17x12, rated at 200 watts at 4 ohms, with a program rating of 300 watts, includes amp to speaker 1/4 inch cable.

Please, a cash only transaction (no shipping, "agents", checks or money orders.)

Fender Precision Bass with gig bag (East) $619

This is Fender Japan's newest bass, and is an improvement on the very popular Fender Aerodyne line. Japanese Fenders are considered top quality, it has been that way since the 1980's.

What I like about the bass are:

• Jazz bass sized neck on a Precision Bass body, which is a great idea.

• Precision Bass Pickup in the middle position

• Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge

• Controls are Volume, Volume, Tone, so that you can blend both pickups

• The headstock has the same color as the body, which is a deluxe, classic touch.

• I think that the Precision bass body shape is more comfortable than the other shapes.

Features include:

• Transparent Natural Finish, again with Body color matching the headstock

• Basswood body topped with figured maple with cream body binding (I think that the Basswood makes the bass weigh less than usual.)

• C-shaped maple neck with 7.25"-radius

• 3-ply mint-green pickguard (again, the pickguard still has the plastic on it.

• Chrome bridge and tuning machines

• Uniquely Aerodyne style, with radiused body design enhances comfort and maintains the traditional Precision vibe.

I purchased this new recently, from a local store. After less than four hours of playing I have decided that, while this is a fine bass, my personal tastes are different than this bass. And I can not return it.

The pickguard still has the plastic on it, and I can not find any marks at all on it. It looks better than most of the stock on the wall at the GC!

I've priced this bass more than $130 below the "friendly musician" online store price. You won't find a new Aerodyne Precision Bass anywhere else in Dane County.

Included is a standard gig bag, slightly used. The gig bag fabric, zipper and all straps are all in very good condition.

This posting is solely for the bass, gig bag, hang tags, adjusting wrenches, and Fender owner's manual.

Lace Blue single coil size Strat. pickup (White) - new in box (Far East) $55

This is one of the legends in after market pickups. Lace pickups are considered by many to be the quietest true single coil pickups available. Used by Fender in the Strat Plus line, as well as in Artist Line and Custom Fender Strats and Teles.

• For those not familiar with the Lace line of pickups, "Lace Music Products, a division of Actodyne General, Inc." is the manufacturing company (hence the web address agi-lace dot com), "Blue" is the model designation, "White" is the color of the pickup case.

• I have a Lace Blue in the neck position of my Strat, and it sounds great. Again, with excellent noise rejection.

• The pickup is still in the box, removed only for pictures, and to check out on a VOM. (This is a project that never happened.)

• The Lace web site describes this as ". . . Slightly increased output with the warmer 50's humbucking sound in a single coil configuration . . ." (google "AGI Lace Blue" for a more thorough description)

• Includes installation and wiring instruction booklet

• The color is white

• This version of the pickup has Lace's improved three lead wire configuration. The lead wires are not trimmed, but are full length as supplied by the factory.

• This fits in the standard Stratocaster single coil position, it works with the standard mounting screws and springs.

• This posting is only for the pickup, retail box, and Lace Company brochures, nothing else is included.

All the items are in used, but great condition. I have some poles I made to seperate the JBL's from the subs if you want them. I also have cords to connect the speakers. I will let you hear the system before you decide. It has a ton of power.

Decimator Pro Rack G (Janesville) $350

ISP's Decimator technology defines a new standard in real-time noise-reduction performance for high-gain amps.

The Decimator ProRackG stereo guitar noise reduction system establishes a new standard for excellence in real time noise filter performance. The Decimator ProRackG was designed to provide the maximum possible performance in a rack mount dual channel noise reduction system designed specifically for extremely high gain guitar amplifiers. The Decimator ProRackG is designed with 2 channels of single ended noise suppression configured specifically for high gain guitar applications allowing one channel to deliver noise reduction for the guitar directly and a second channel to eliminate amplifier gain noise. A separate guitar buffer input and output optimizes your guitar signal.

Channel one eliminates 50 or 60 cycle hum, buzz, stage light noise and any other noise picked up directly by the instrument. The ProRack channel one output drives the front end of your guitar amplifier and eliminates all of the input noise picked up by the guitar. The control circuit of the second channel detects and tracks the guitar signal directly while the signal processing audio chain is patched into the effects loop of the high gain guitar amplifier. Now you can quiet down even the most insane amounts of noise with any amplifier system incorporating a series effects loop. The Decimator ProRackG will also solve the typical high gain feedback or squealing problem high gain guitar players fight.

You know how difficult this problem can be. You play staccato notes and in between each note you have a squeal or burst of feedback that's virtually impossible to control. Problem solved with the Decimator ProRackG. By proper setting of the threshold for channel one and channel two you can eliminate this problem for good.

The Decimator ProRackG has dual processing channels incorporating both low-level downward expansion and dynamically controlled low-pass filtering in a very easy to use single rack space unit. The ProRackG is based on ISP Technologies patent pending Time Vector Processing," which provides the most adaptively dynamic release response characteristics of any real time noise reduction system. The Time Vector Processing dynamic response circuit is used to control the release time constant of both the downward expander and dynamic filter. Not only does the Decimator ProRackG deliver the most stunning noise reduction, it also solves the problem of needing to adjust the Threshold setting every time you change gain or switch channels.

By using the input guitar signal to drive both channels' level detection circuitry, the ProRackG noise filter system needs no other adjustments once the thresholds are set based on the guitar input. This will give you the correct threshold with clean, crunch and even monstrous amounts of gain and if you use pedals you can insert them in the loop between the output of the Decimator Channel 1 and the input of the guitar amplifier.

ISP Technologies Decimator Pro Rack G Stereo Noise Reduction System Specifications:

Title says it all, I'll post pics later tonight I'm just home for lunch.
Minty mint 1996 USA made Fender Hotrod Deluxe amp. You know it, most popular amp Fender's ever made. They sound great at pretty much any volume. $450 gets it stock with Uber-sweet 1960s USA made NOS preamp tubes. For another $75, you'll get a much better speaker and a lot more including cover, switch and convertors to run it with EL84 tubes (monster upgrade).

I'll also trade it for a Fender Pro Jr. (not looking for Blues Jr) + $250.
