Enormous butternut tree, probably > 80 years, has blown down on my hillside property. Main trunk is ~18" diameter and about 8 feet long, at which point it divides into four major branches each about 12" diameter > 20 feet. It would be difficult to extract from the hillside, even cut into 8 foot lengths, because of the slope, weight, and access, though a Bobcat might work. Many smaller but substantial pieces that could be turned on a lathe. No cankers, no rot, beautiful solid wood.

If someone could extract it and mill it, he/she can have 80% of it, 20% to me, negotiable.

Full bucket is normally $135 at Nonn's I opened it today 7/14 and it should be good for months if left in sealed bucket. I did 100 sq ft of 3/16" grout with the first half of the bucket. Color is Dark Mocha.

Our barn was once used as a tobacco drying shed. So, we have about 60 long wood poles. Most are at least 16 feet long, and a minimum of 4 inches wide. They are solid pieces of wood, and look like tree trunks with the branches trimmed off. They make great fence posts, and I'm sure they could be used for other things too.
