Youth Summer Camp - All Day Program (Madison, WI Metro Area)

The Legacy Academy Activity Center offers a weekday day-long youth summer camp program commencing during the week of 6/15/08 and extending until the Labor Day weekend. Enrollment scheduling is flexible as children may be enrolled for one to eleven weeks at the parents' option while space permits. The daily drop-off time is between 7:00 - 9:00 am (7:00 - 8:00 am on Fridays) and the parent pick-up time is between 4:00 - 6:15 pm.

Mornings will be primarily spent at the Fitchburg-based academy with children being able to enjoy free play time at our versatile 6,000 square foot facility including use of our activity floors, our new Rainbow Castle Play System, recreational room, and reading room. Each morning will also include an organized rotating group activity that will include gymnastics tumbling instruction, karate instruction, arts & crafts instruction as well as gym games such as volleyball, badminton, soccer, kickball, dodgeball, etc.

Parents are asked to prepare a box or sack lunch for which the academy will provide refrigeration. Following lunch the kids will be taken on a daily afternoon field trip, weather permitting. Field trip destinations will include a visit each Tuesday to Pump It Up - "The Inflatable Party Zone", a popular local venue for birthday parties and other events. Other weekday field trip destinations will include zoos, parks, ballfields, museums, and movie theatres.

The weekly program highlight will be a supervised day trip each Friday to Noah's Ark - "America's Largest Waterpark", at Wisconsin Dells. The bus for this trip will depart by 8:15 am each Friday and return by 3:30 pm. Subject to age and height restrictions, the children will have supervised access to all activities at the water park.

The weekly tuition for the Legacy Academy Summer Camp is only $165 for one child or $299 for two siblings. There is also a one-time $25 academy registration fee. The tuition includes all activity admission fees. This program is intended to represent the finest activity oriented summer camp value in the greater Madison area.
