We have 2 pets: a small dog (15 lbs) and an African Grey parrot. Both are pretty quiet and they are well-behaved. Our dog is crate trained, and is never loose when we're not at home. He is not a chewer, either. The bird has clipped wings and is not allowed to fly.
What we're looking for: A 2-bedroom, preferably first floor, though we're open to second floor (or more) if it has certain amenities. It also could be 1 bedroom with an office/den, but we definitely need office space. It must have available green space for our dog. A fenced area would be awesome. We're looking for, at minimum, on-site laundry, but preferably W/D hookups. A dishwasher and A/C would be nice. Off-street parking for at least one vehicle, preferably two. Location isn't very important, though we would probably prefer east side - but, anything within 15 miles of Madison is fine. We would be very interested in renting a whole house over an apt.
If you have a property that will be available in August or September, we would appreciate knowing about it and what features it has, as well as price, deposit, and other information. Pictures are very appreciated, though we can be available to see properties in person.
Living arrangement can be flexible. Roommate(s), studio, 1 bedroom, etc. However, I do have to be within a few miles of work on North Gammon Rd.
I didn't have much time to save up for security deposit due to "roommate situation." Either 1st month free with signed lease or flexible security deposit terms would be appreciated.

Here's a bit about me to see if we'd be a good fit:
- I like to be outside, read, cook, have interesting discussions.
- I am social and like to get together with friends a lot. I'm a social drinker but I'd usually rather do so with good friends than go to a big party.
- Relatively neat especially in common areas (don't like the dishes sitting around), but certainly not a neat-freak in any way.
- Politically liberal and socially active.
- I don't tend to watch tv, and would prefer to live with someone who doesn't always have the tv on.
- I'd prefer no pets, but I'm flexible.

In my imagination, this place is an efficiency or 1 bedroom with hardwood floors. It either has no neighbors (maybe it's above a shop or something) or suitably thick walls (like some of the older buildings downtown!).
I don't know if such a place exists, but it'd be really great if it did and I could rent it out. And maybe if it had a parking spot, too. I'm well-behaved, no parties, always pay rent on time. Possible move in date in September or October?
Ideally, your place is furnished, you allow pets (a dog), your place has reasonable natural light, you have laundry in-unit and reasonable closet space.
Easy parking is a must.

I am a good tenant and have no problems making rent. I have no pets, very few things, and I would take good care of the place, keeping it nice and clean. If you have a vacant apartment, and would rather see it occupied, I'm your gal!
