The book club "Reading Immigration," is a project in collaboration between the Center for the Humanities, UW-Madison and the Sequoya branch of the Madison public library. We are reading fiction by immigrant authors. Our next two meetings are as follows:
April 15, Tuesday, 7-8 pm at the Sequoya branch of the Madison Public Library. "The Interpreter of Maladies" by Jhumpa Lahiri (Pulitzer winner, 2000).
May 20, Tuesday, 7-8 pm at the Sequoya branch. "My Year of Meats" by Ruth L. Ozeki (Kiriyama Pacific Rim Book Prize Winner, 1998)
Copies of the books are easily available in most branches of the Madison Public Library.
