It is not a league sport, just a weekly pick-up game, so there is no pressure to be great at sports or extremely athletic ( I am, in fact, not the greatest sports player :-) However, it is just fun to get out and be with people and play!!! We play on Tuesday nights at 6:30pm at Vilas Park, near the Vilas Zoo. I am sure that you will be able to find us, because we will be the only adults playing with plastic bats..... I'm just guessing :-)

Over the years, players have come and gone, but one thing has remained true: the Cyclone brotherhood is strong. We demand dedication and commitment once you step onto the sideline. We seek fun and welcoming personalities off the field. If you are able to live up to these requirements, you are welcomed into the fold. And if you continue to exhibit these qualities, you will forever be a �Clone. Many have worn the Black and Gold, but few have �Hoisted the Flag�*.

It costs no money to play for the Cyclones. We have no team fees or dues. We are supported through fundraising and sponsors. As a player, you are expected to participate in fundraising and help us search for sponsors, but we make it as easy as possible. Because of state insurance regulations, we are unable to provide you with equipment, so you must provide your own pads and helmet, but we do have discount associations with a number of area and online suppliers. If you would like a personalized jersey (most do), we do have require that you either purchase your jersey (just the top) or help raise the necessary funds (most players achieve this in one hour through our fundraising opportunities).

The most frequently asked question we receive is will playing for the Cyclones affect my eligibility for college?

No. As the NCAA sees it, we do not pay you to play, and your own fundraising efforts offset any �perceived benefit� you receive. However, football is a dangerous game, and if you have aspirations to play in the collegiate ranks, remember that career-ending injuries can occur at any time. Having said that, we have had several players improve themselves enough to earn spots on college squads, and several other former �Clones have gone on to get paid to play football at higher levels.

When you swim, do you feel like you are exerting an enormous amount of effort and not going very far?

Well, never fear -- I am a former swim coach and would like to help you improve your stroke!

We can set up as many or as few sessions as you like.

I am not doing this for the money, so you can pay me whatever you think is appropriate for the amount of help I can give you. I just like to help people enjoy swimming!

Hello. I am recently back in the Madison area and looking for people who are into Whitewater Kayaking, any Skill Level. I would classify my skill level in intermediate and wouldn�t mind getting some experienced with some more experienced boaters, but also wouldn�t mind taking out some less experienced boaters. I am really looking to find some people to run some rivers up north with maybe go to some damn releases, without joining a club that charges for membership.
